CES 2009 Panasonic Debuts Products at 2009 CES in Las Vegas: First Portable Blu-Ray Player Panasonic held a major influence at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. The electronics company unveiled new products, such as the 150-inch plasma tv, portable Blu-Ray player, and 3-D plasma screen. Executives Robert Perry and Joseph Taylor were on hand at the press conference on Wednesday. It’s not about the quality, it’s trying to give the blu-ray format as much flexibility as DVD had. remember, not everyone has a laptop! Laptops with blu-ray built in are at least $1200. this would obviously be cheaper than that!
